The Plantronics has tiny numbers, and when the phone fits into the base, it is nearly impossible to get out in time to get the call before the phone stops ringing. I have used a headset for years, and couldn't live without it. Radio Shack quit making them, and that is the brand I have bought for years and loved it.
The keys are very small - be warned of that - but the overall size of the phone is handy. I purchased this phone based on a reference from a friend when I established a home office. I have dropped the entire unit several times because of this problem, so I plan to give the Plantronics set a try to see if it remains plugged in better. The Panasonic KX-TCA60 Hands-Free Headset with Comfort Fit Headband I purchased separately to use with it (seemed to have a microphone that would eliminate extraneous noises better than the Plantronics headset) does not remain plugged in as well as I would like and I have not yet tried to use the Plantronics headset. I have worked 12 years in a Customer Service department that swears by Plantronics products and I have always been content. I have been very pleased with the performance of this particular phone.
I've had several of these types of phones and this is by fare the best in size and weight. This is perfect for home office and for normal personal use. No complaints for such a small unit. Sound quality is pretty good. It's very light and fits easily in a pocket. I work from home and most of my work is by phone and I can slip it in my pocket and walk around the house or even cook and do things and talk.
Not the type I thought it was. I stiil don't know how to set up this phone to use.
Two, The number pad need to have lighter/bolder numbers. I have had this headset for 2 years and it been ok with two exceptions, One, is the headset fitting. Even with the two problems it's ok for what I need. Since I am not a fan of the earpieces, as one, reviewer wrote, "it's the only game in town". I am not sure what size heads the models have when they design these but it sure isn't for smaller heads. I always struggle to keep it on.
